Bank provides tuition support for 9 students displaced from Artsakh

Byblos Bank Armenia has provided funding to help cover the tuition fees of9 students who were forcibly displaced from Artsakh and are currently enrolled at Gavar State University.

Supporting young people and ensuring equal access to education remain key responsibilities for the Bank.

The initiative aims to ease the social challenges faced by Artsakh students and their families who are living in difficult circumstances.

“This is a very important initiative for Byblos Bank Armenia. It will help create a stable environment for young people to master their chosen professions, launch and grow their careers. It will allow students to focus on their education at this important stage of their lives and find better opportunities to achieve their goals,” said Hayk Stepanyan, CEO of Byblos Bank Armenia.

“We highly appreciate the support provided by Byblos Bank Armenia to students who were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh and enrolled at GSU. Initiatives like this encourage the youth of Artsakh, strengthen hope and optimism for the future and inspire them to pursue knowledge with determination, become qualified specialists and fulfill their aspirations,” noted Ruzanna Hakobyan, Rector of Gavar State University.

Education is one of the key pillars of Byblos Bank Armenia’s corporate social responsibility strategy. The Bank actively cooperates with universities and other educational institutions, with a strong focus on creating long-term impact.
