How to add your card to Apple Wallet
Adding your card to Wallet using an Apple device is easy, and here’s how to get started.
iPhone
- Open the Wallet app,
- Tap the “+” sign in the upper-right corner,
- Use your iPhone camera to scan the card information.
iPad
- Go to Settings,
- Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”,
- Use your iPad camera to scan the card information.
Apple Watch
- Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone,
- Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”,
- Use your iPhone camera to scan the card information.
MacBook Pro with Touch ID
- Go to System Preferences,
- Select “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Card”,
- Use your MacBook Pro camera to scan the card information.

How to pay with Apple Pay
You can use Apple Pay anywhere around the globe and wherever you see one of these symbols:
Face ID
To pay with Face ID, double-click the side button, glance at your screen, then hold your iPhone near the reader.
Touch ID
For Touch ID, hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID.
Apple Watch
On Apple Watch, double-click the side button and hold your Apple Watch facing the reader.
You can also use the service to pay in apps and on websites in Safari on your iPhone and iPad, as well as on websites in Safari on your Mac and MacBook Pro.
